it’s been a great experience for me, play-grading these Chess mid-eighties reissues of some of the Chicago blues masters. Because I live relatively close to Chicago in the world scheme of things, and because I’ve heard so many songs in this series covered by high-profile rock acts, I am at a loss trying to explain why I’ve never heard this stuff……..
(this where “what I do” looks an awfully lot like getting paid to listen to old records, and it is………….)
