Rainy Day On The Web: Dead Music Store"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gojohnnygojohnny.wordpress.com\/2011\/02\/20\/list-of-dead-indie-record-stores\/\" title=\"Rainy Day Remembered\"><br \/>\nThis Link<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We think it was really nice of this blogger to include us in their list and also for the commenter who added Storm Lake to our presence.<\/p>\n<p>It was perhaps a little unsettling in the moment to try on the mantle of &#8220;Dead Indie Record Store And Head Shop&#8221; but I tried it out right away via our social media and it actually wasn&#8217;t weird, possibly because I can obscure the issue a little by being a Grateful Dead fan.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, maybe Dead Indie Record Store is something I&#8217;d like to actually exploit; it&#8217;s true, it&#8217;s a continuum leading to today, and I can sustain it.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m testing some Google advertising.  I can get it to display but I&#8217;m having difficulty getting anyone to click on the link, meaning (to me) the ad just isn&#8217;t very compelling.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m going to try:<\/p>\n<p>Dead Indie Music Store<br \/>\nRock Music Promo Flats 1995-2001<br \/>\nDiscounts for 3,6,12 posters<br \/>\nsaintstevensthingery clickie link<\/p>\n<p>instead of:<\/p>\n<p>Music Promotional Flats<br \/>\nRock Music Promo Flats<br \/>\n1995-2001 85 Varieties<br \/>\nsaintstevensthingery clickie link<\/p>\n<p>maybe they both suck, I&#8217;m not sure.
