Paulapalooza is an annual house concert event in August, hosted by Paula Grimm, Linn Grove, Ia.
We sent a contingent of four (apparently preceded by our club affiliation as noted in Paula’s introduction): consisting of Mark, Kathy, Dragoon Dave, and the archivist formerly known in Buena Vista county as Hippie (yours truly).
This show presented certain technological challenges, like the artists using two different PA’s but that’s what we like about this stuff: the challenge.
The Weary Ramblers, Chad Elliott and Kathryn Severing Fox, made their Spencer, Iowa debut on March 10, 2023 at Century Farms Distillery.

Chad Elliott was commissioned by Spencer Public Library to produce this five panel mural, made possible by The American Rescue Plan: Humanities Grants for Libraries. Here’s video of the reveal and audio of the concert.
