Description:
Illustrated in Catherine Thuro’s Oil Lamps book page 125, tis lamp is identified as Plain Tulip and made by Atterbury and Co. Measures 8 3/4″ tall, has a brass No. 1 7/8″ thread collar, good condition with no cracks, two no-show shallow under-base chips, not at all unusual for a lamp this old.

Wonderful vintage original slip shade chandelier or ceiling light fixture in the classic art deco style. The fixture has original wiring and original finish which has some minor wear. The five frosted glass slip shades are in good used condition, one has a 1/4″ flake, two others have a couple tiny minor chips which hardly show. Light is 20″ long and 16″ diameter. Two new screws have been added to replace missing ones in the ceiling cap. Great vintage art deco slip shade light fixture!

Description:
Antique Victorian era opal glass hanging oil or kerosene lamp shade with attached brass crown. No cracks or chips, shade is 15″ diameter, 6 1/4″ top fitter diameter, 5 3/4″ inside diameter, shade is 4 1/2″ tall, 5 1/2″ tall to top of crown. Rare, hard to find antique shade, not a repro.
